Shipping policy
Shipping:
Orders are shipped from Pennsylvania. Products are mailed via customers' selected service, however please remember to include your zip code in the shipping calculator as some states require residents to pay sales tax.
Orders are shipped Monday through Friday.
We highly recommended purchasing shipping insurance for purchases as we are not responsible for packages that have been damaged or lost during the shipping process once they leave our location. Shipping insurance is available for purchase on all packages. If you wish to add insurance please be sure to notify us by emailing us at dreamingtreesworkshop@gmail.com with your order number. You'll receive an additional Paypal invoice for the insurance.
We are not liable for packages that have been damaged or lost during the shipping process once they leave our location. Please verify your shipping address. If for any reason your package is returned to us, you will be responsible for additional shipping to re-send the package. No refunds will be made.
We are not responsible for any service carriers shipping delays. Once the package is in USPS's hands we cannot expedite the shipping.
Approximate Shipping Times
International shipping is calculated via USPS according to the overall weight of the package at checkout. To protect your package from loss/damage/theft during the shipping process, we highly recommend purchasing shipping insurance. If you opt out of this service we provide, your order will be void of replacements or refunds.
Once an international parcel leaves the US there may not be many or any tracking updates until it reaches your country. Please keep in mind that due to ongoing slowdowns caused by covid-19 and current world events, international bound packages could take up to 90 days to process through your country's customs office and we kindly ask that you wait the full time-frame before reaching out for resolution. Please contact us for help if your package surpasses this time-frame.
Important: Customers that are purchasing outside the US should be aware that there may be additional fees/taxes/duties on your package once it arrives to your country. These are separate importation charges added by your countries customs agency. Our shipping charges do not cover these fees and we are required by law to declare all items and cost of items on your package. Please contact your local customs office for further information on what the additional costs may be before placing an order. Rejected/returned packages will be refunded the purchase price (less shipping) once returned to our workshop.
Drop Shipping:
At this time we do not drop ship orders
3rd Party Shippers/re-shippers/Forwarders:
We are not responsible for lost, damaged, and stolen product that has been handled by third party shippers/shipping services/package forwarders.
Lost/Stolen Packages:
If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package please make sure to check all surrounding areas where your box may have been dropped off, speak with your neighbors and contact your local post office and ask for them to review the GPS location of package delivery to rule out a possible miss-delivery.
Occasionally, USPS will mark a package delivered before dropping the package off, we recommend waiting at least 5 business days to see if this changes. If all else fails, we suggest filing a missing mail claim through your local post and would be happy to help you through the claims process by providing any information your post office may require to complete an investigation on your package including proof of postage and exact package details.
Our replacement/refund policy does not cover damage/loss that occurs through third party forwarders or stolen mail with tracking marked as delivered.
Damaged/Incorrect/Missing Items:
Please contact us immediately at dreamingtreeworkshop@gmail.com so that we can resolve this promptly for you. If 14 days has passed since delivery we can no longer honor refunds or replacements on damaged/lost/incorrect items.
Note: Minor cosmetic blemishes caused during the manufacturing process or differences in shape/color are not considered damage and will not be replaced or refunded as they do not affect the stability or performance of the product. Product appearance variation are not considered faulty product due to the handmade nature of the products.
